So very, very angry right now...

I just received an e-mail from my lab tech. Someone (not her) turned off my testing oven at some unknown time while I've been out. Doing so has rendered three months worth of testing useless. I have to start over from the beginning. I am so fracken ticked right now.

I'll have to go in to work tomorrow and try and see what can be done. So much for more recuperation.

Dammit.

Adventure! Excitement! RAGE!

What kind of testing oven? I used to have 4, a Themotron, a Blue M, and I can't remember the other company, but also up in Mi (Ran an environmental + dynamics test lab)

I don't remember the brand, though Blue M sounds familiar. I'm working on corrosion-resistant cement for sealing off old oilwells. These tests are done under very tightly controlled environments...well, there were. :-(

This screws up months of work. We don't know when the oven was turned off so we can't adjust our findings for that.

Dammit.

Sorry to hear that (no smarta$$ punchline as per my usual).

I know having your hard work screwed up my someone else's stupidity is aggravating to say the least.

Loved lab work except for random gremlin attacks such as these...do remember sleeping there (not for a month, but a couple days).

Calm blue ocean...stirred only by the last few bubbles of air trickling up from the person whose head I am holding underwater...

Mmmm, yeah, I feel much better now...

Thats really horrible. I have my run-ins with the chinese ("oh, that EVA we sold you with the test certificate was actually polyeurethane?" and sometimes similar damage is wrought, so I commisserate with you (raises glass).

Rocko and Mutz are between jobs right now.. (And with the economy and all)

Just let me know. We could further the cement testing in an impromptu manner. Field, if you will.. Ahem.

Oy, take and care of the foot! That looks nasty. Stay out of the the Bruno Magli's for a while.
